Welcome to our general medical practice
It is our pleasure to welcome you to your general medical practice in the heart of the Südheide region. We opened our doors in 1 July 2022 and are at your service as an outpatient family medical centre – motivated, modern, open-minded and eco-friendly.
Besides standard medical care at our surgery premises, the “Allgemeinarztpraxis Theißen” now also offers the option of remote care in the form of online video consultations. These can be arranged directly at the surgery reception desk or through our online appointment booking service (in German language).
If the pediatrician is not at hand we accept children of 3 years or older for acute treatment.
Home visits are also possible by prior arrangement.

Appointments can be made by phone or e-mail and our team will then get back to you. Or you can book an appointment online using our health portal (in German language). Instructions on how to use the portal and more detailed information about booking appointments can be found here (in German language). If you find that you cannot register for the health portal, please let us know. In rare cases, we will need to individually activate a patient registration too.

This website is permanently under construction and now and then news and information about our medical practice will be added over time. So please feel free to click in from time to time – it will be well worth it.
New patients
If you would like to register for primary care as a new patient, you can download the patient information form and the Privacy Policy in advance. Please bring this completed patient information form and the Private Policy with you to your first appointment.
If you want to name anybody who might, for example, collect your prescriptions on your behalf, please don’t forget to complete and sign the authorisation section at the end of the form. Alternatively, you can also get the authorisation documents in our surgery and complete them in person.
Please take notice that the collection authorisation does NOT correspond to a release from confidentiality. In case you wish a general release of confidentiality towards persons or institutions that may receive medical information about you and your state of health, please fill the form for the release of confidentiality that we provide for you.
Patients with acute symptoms
Our consultations for acute symptoms are held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 08:00 to 09:30 a.m., on Friday from 08:30 to 09:30 a.m. and on Tuesday + Thursday from 2:00 to 3.00 p.m. Patients with acute symptoms are invites to appear without appointment within this time frame to be treated according to their time of appearance.
To provide a better flow of patient care online booking ahead is no more available in order to preserve acute office hours for acute symptom treatment only. please note that office hours for acute symptoms are reserved for acute symptoms treatment only. For treatment of long term symptoms without acute exacerbation or of discussions of medical reports and findings please schedule resp. book an appointment within the regular office hours. Regular office hours are taking place in connection to the acute office hours and appointments can be booked online.
We would ask for your understanding that patients with acute symptoms who come into the surgery outside of these consultation hours may have to expect longer waiting times.
