Order a prescription

By 1st Jan 24 the electronic prescription (eRezept) is mandatory  for prescribing medication for patients with statutory health insurance. That is in case you are in need of medication we sign and send the prescription by telematic means. In this case you have 3 options to redeem the prescription:

1) You are in possession of an NFC-capable health insurance card (detectable by the symbol resembeling a point with 3 radiating waves). THis you can simply use to pick up your medication at your favourite pharmacy store. The latter only needs your card for identifying your prescription.

2) You use the eRezept App. For this you need your NFC capable health insurance card and a PIN that you can order from your health insurance company. By this you won't only be able  to redeem your prescription by mobile phone, but you also can preorder the medication and have it deposited for an announced pick-up date.

As soon as you have had your insurance card activated in our practice once a quarter of the year, these two options enable you to avoid the sometimes awkward pick ups of paper prescriptions in our practice.

3) You go on receiving a print version of your prescription including a QR code and hand it over to the pharmacy store for redeeming.

Please note that only statutory health insurance based prescriptions of medication may be processed as ePrescriptions. Prescriptions of medical aid materials, physiotherapy or prescriptions of privately covered patients must continously be processed and picked up as print versions at the moment. Please turn to our staff in case of further questions.

Important: When ordering a prescription, please always state your first and last name, as well as your date of birth, the name of the medication you require and the respective package size (e.g. 100 tablets or N3, etc.).

If you’d like to pick up the prescription yourself, it will be available to you at the reception desk 48 hours after we receive your prescription request.

Please note: Due to a high demand of precription orders we are only capable of processing the orders at the following day. Please date your request in time at least 24 hours before the desired delivery of prescription.

If your pharmacy offers a pick-up service, it is of course also possible to forward the prescription directly to the pharmacy. You will then be contacted you by them regarding the pick-up or delivery of the medication.
