Dear patients,
health damage by overexposure to heat is populationwidely rising in number in the hot months of the year.
Reasons are diverse. On one hand we find more and more people becoming susceptible of hard fluctuations in temperature due to age or diseases including medication intake. On the other hand climate change even in our areas of living provides more an more extreme and health harming change in weather conditions.
Of course there have always been heat related health damage situations due to individual behavioral errors. The reasons mentioned above, though, contribute to the rise of probability to suffer from a heat health damage.
